We provide a service that can cater for any type of personal care that you may require. We can provide assistance with washing and dressing, and with the preparation and serving of meals. Our staff can assist you with medication if you require. Our staff will completely respect your wishes when attending to your needs. We will ensure that your dignity and confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Our professional staff are efficient and willing to help you in anyway possible. We believe that people are happiest when they are cared for within their own home. One of our main aims is to help you improve and maintain your independence.

OUR STAFF

We provide ourselves on the professionalism that our care team offers. We only recruit people who provide us with excellent references that have been thoroughly checked.

Any person joining Starr Care are subject to enhanced police checks to ensure that they are of good character. We endeavour to provide carers to you on a regular basis. If for some reason your regular carer is unable to attend we will endeavour to notify you of the change and arrange for another carer to attend to you.

Our care staff wear light blue tunics and carry photographic indentification, our senior staff have dark blue tunics. If you are in any doubts as to whether the staff is from Starr Care please call the office for confirmation.

YOUR RIGHTS

Starr Care operates under the Data protection Act; this will ensure the confidentiality and security of your details. Our staff will respect your rights at all times; this will respect the way you choose to live, your religious beliefs and cultural background.

SERVICE SATISFICATION

Our aim is to provide you with a high standard of care. All our staff are trained and attend regular refresher courses. Our senior staff carry out regular assessments to make sure that our standards are adhered to and that our clients are satisfied with the care that they receive.

INSURANCE

We are fully insured for employees and public liability, however you must also take measures to ensure that your home is a safe environment for you and your staff.

STARR SUPPORT SERVICES

Use us for your shopping, cleaning and sitting services.

Starr Support is the sister company to Starr care, after many years of caring for people we realised that there are some services that we could provide outside our normal care plans to make life more comfortable for any of our clients.

Shopping - Preferred shops, preferred brands, unpacking costing
Cleaning - Light housework, floors, furniture services, waste bins
Laundry - Pick up and drop off, ironing
Sitting services - We can arrange sitting services whilst main carer is away

We realise that your needs may change from time to time so you can always talk to your friendly carer.
